Building Permits:
Town of Hammond - Residential Building Permit Fees:
a. Plan Review / Administrative fee. (amount based on inspection fee (b – g)
$25 – if inspection fee under $400
$75 – if inspection fee over $400
b. New one and two family dwelling construction: $750 flat fee plus $.10 per square foot.
c. Modular or manufactured assembled home to be placed upon a permanent basement foundation shall be $550 flat fee plus $.10 per square foot. –Above (b. – c.) fees includes the construction of attached structures that are part of the submitted plan, such as an attached garage, deck, or porch.
d. Manufactured assembled home to be placed upon a slab, piers, or non- permanent foundation shall be $400 flat fee.
e. Any building cost (additions, alterations, or remodeling) over $100,000 will be considered new construction (a. – d.). Building cost will be measured according to the RS means Standard if applicable.
f. Any building cost (additions or remodeling) under $100,000 will be charged per inspection type, types listed under Services 1.B. Fee’s for one and two family dwellings will be $60 per inspection type. Building cost will be measured according to the RS Means Standard if applicable.
g. Re-inspection fee $60 for one and two family dwelling.
Impact fees are $1188.81 and need to be paid to the Town of Hammond
