"Know What to Throw"

June 4, Tire Collections, four sites:

City of Hudson (Krattley Lane, North Hudson) 8AM – 1PM

Town of Hammond (Town Hall / Recycling, Center, 1816 Cty Rd E. Hammond ) 8AM – 1PM

Town of Richmond (Town Hall / Recycling Center, north edge of Boardman) 9AM – 2PM

Town of Troy (Recycling Center, 277 Townsvalley Rd) 8AM – 12:30PM

Prices: Car (up to 16”) $2 w/o rim or $4 with rim; truck (17” to 22”) $4 w/o rim or $8 with rim; tractor $15; heavy equipment tire $20; and bicycle tire 50 cents.

 

 

June 4, Appliance Collection, Three sites:

City of Hudson (Krattley Lane, North Hudson 8AM – 1PM

Village of Woodville (behind the united Fire Hall, 216 River Street) 8 AM – 1 PM

Town of Troy (Recycling Center, 277 Townsvalley Rd) 8AM – 12:30PM

Prices: $11 for most appliances; $16 for air conditioners and water softeners.

 CLEAN SWEEP Hazardous Waste Collection:

Friday, September 16, 1 - 4 PM

Saturday, September 17 9 AM - 1 PM

 

Households and farms with up to 500 pounds of waste are fee exempt. Small businesses (defined as those generating no more than 200 pounds of waste per month) may participate but WILL BE CHARGED.

Farms and businesses must pre-register by Tuesday, September 13th for a morning appointment on Friday, September 16th by calling 715-386-4675

 

September 17, Appliance Collection, two sites:

Glenwood City (Recycling Center adjacent to fairgrounds) 8AM – 1PM

Town of Richmond (Town Hall / Recycling Center, north edge of Boardman) 9AM – 2PM

Prices same as June 4^th collection.

 

Electronics Collections

In January 2010, a new law took effect requiring manufacturers to collect and recycle certain electronics from Wisconsin households and schools.  As a result, several businesses in and around ST. Croix county offer year-round electronic waste collection for recycling making the county-sponsored electronics collections unnecessary.  These private e-waste collection sites include:
