Planning Commission; Meeting was held on June 5. 2017. Everyone was present.

The commission with Ron Bonte to review his CSM, he is splitting the lots where his home is located. There was no activity with the Rolling Hills re-plat, on hold for now.

Joe and Paul are reviewing the roads.  Paul talked with Angela Popenhagen, Stevens Engineering to talk about the structure and process for a road referendum next year.

Then next planning commission meeting was not decided at time of meeting.

Todd Dolan had sent an email requested that we take a look at our building code ordinance as it does not specifically contain language about small structures (pre-built) being placed on properties.  The planning commission will look into this.

The board approved the liquor license renewal for Hammond Golf Club; motion by Anderson/Wynveen second. The board approved the liquor license renewal for Kelm Golf Course; motion by Miller/Aune second.

The board approved the Bonte CSM motion by Anderson/Aune second.

Rain Damage: 60tth Ave at Wahlquist’s, rain was running under the road causing the blacktop to cave in.  $12, 500 to fix, the Town will be responsible for half the cost of $6250.

County is mowing the ditches, they were asked to mow as wide as they can.

There was an issue at 1874 90th Ave. with water running down the driveway at 989 170th Street, owner placing 6 – 8 inch drain tile in the ditch for water flow, Paul will talk with both of the residents on these issues.

The board received a letter from Jennifer Heebink with some concerns she has with the Towns assessor.  Linda will talk with the assessor about this issue.

There was discussion about the noxious weed notice, the Town does not have an ordinance, but has always followed the County or State ordinance.  We discussed the fact that if you live in a development the association is responsible for the removal of these weeds; otherwise homeowners are responsible to make sure the weeds are destroyed.

Chairman: Paul and Joe went to Madison for the Just Fix it Conference, was ok, met with Sheila Harsdorf.

Next meeting scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2017.

Being no other business the meeting was adjourned, motion by Anderson/Aune Miller second.

Respectfully submitted: Linda Hawkins
